Even more presidential references from my doomsday diaries
Part 3: Days 201 - 300
For the first 500 days of the pandemic, I kept covid journal.
Every day, I documented our life. What was keeping us busy and sane. Things we read or watched. Stuff happening in the world. And, of course, a plethora of POTUS references. I shared days 1-100 and 101 -199 previously.
Presidential references from days 201-300 are below.

Day 259
I love weird coincidences like this. I’d never heard of candiru, but learned about them in The River of Doubt. (They. Are. Horrifying.) Then they popped up in a delightful children’s book — The Quest for Z: The True Story of Explorer Percy Fawcett and a Lost City in the Amazon by Greg Pizzoli.

Day 289
Look at me, pondering! And now I have trading cards now! And some stationery! And I’m working on a book!
(Also, my nickname: The Great PooPooer. That tracks.)

I’ve read at least one book about every U.S. president, never tire of shoehorning presidential trivia into conversations, and am basically an expert at hiding mistakes in my sketchbooks.
